Organized by the LBS Latin American Club in collaboration with the Brazil Club, LABF has become one of London’s leading conferences dedicated to Latin America, welcoming over 200 participants each year, including business leaders, investors, policymakers, and graduate students.

As the first Peruvian “shark” on Shark Tank México, Schwartzmann evaluates, supports and invests in innovative ventures spanning fintech, consumer brands and experiential businesses, bringing smart capital and strategic guidance to founders.

A decorated former player with two Premier League titles, a Copa América triumph, and a FIFA Club World Cup to his name, Edu Gaspar now serves as Nottingham Forest’s Global Head of Football.
Edu won two Premier League titles with Arsenal (2002, 2004), Copa América with Brazil (2004), and the FIFA Club World Cup with Corinthians (2000), among other major honors.
Since transitioning to football management in 2011, he has held senior roles at Corinthians, the Brazilian National Team—where he helped deliver the 2019 Copa América—and Arsenal FC, earning widespread recognition for his innovative approach to modern football operations.

Jaime Saavedra is one of Latin America’s most influential voices on education, human capital development, and inclusive growth. As Peru’s former Minister of Education, he led landmark public sector reforms that significantly improved learning outcomes and positioned education at the center of the country’s long-term development agenda.
Currently, Jaime serves in senior leadership roles at the World Bank, where he shapes education and human development strategies across emerging markets. Alejandro is Chief Financial Officer of Credicorp and Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP), Peru’s leading financial services group. With over 25 years within the organization, he has built a strong track record across corporate finance, capital markets, asset management, and strategic leadership in Latin America.
Before becoming CFO in 2024, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Credicorp, leading key transformation and efficiency initiatives across the group. He has also held senior leadership roles including Chief Investment Officer at Prima AFP and positions at Credicorp Capital.

Jorge is a Partner and serial business builder at McKinsey & Company. He leads McKinsey Business Building in Saudi Arabia and oversees the B2B and B2C chapters across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, working with public institutions, sovereign wealth funds, corporations, and high-growth startups to design, build, and scale new businesses.
Previously, Jorge led McKinsey’s Business Building efforts in Latin America, where he helped launch more than a dozen ventures across payments, digital banking, and digital ecosystems. His work focuses on leveraging digital technologies to drive growth and close structural gaps in emerging markets, particularly in areas such as financial inclusion and access to essential services.

Adolfo Ibáñez, Chile
Andrés is the former Chairman of the Chilean Venture Capital Association and Managing Partner at Genesis Ventures, an investment firm focused on Venture Capital, Energy, Real Estate, and Content.
He currently serves as Adjunct Professor and Director of the Venture Capital Program at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and is a mentor at IE Business School’s Venture Lab. Andrés has held board roles in more than ten companies across Latin America and has led the international expansion and fundraising efforts of Genesis Ventures in the U.S. and Europe. He is also Managing Partner at Avante Advisors, advising investors and founders on venture capital, startups, and clean energy projects.

Jeremy is Chief Executive Officer of Canning House, the UK’s leading forum on Latin America, leading an independent platform for thought-leadership and debate on political, economic, and commercial trends across the region.
He previously served as the UK’s Minister of State for Latin America at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Since leaving elected office, he has held roles including Special Representative to the EU for the City of London Corporation, International Business Ambassador for Aberdeen Standard Investments, and advisor to the environmental investment firm Renewity.

Arthur is Chief Economist at TRUXT Investimentos, a Brazilian asset management firm, where he leads macroeconomic research and strategy with a focus on Brazil and Latin America. With nearly two decades of experience in economic analysis, he is a trusted voice on the region's financial and political landscape.
Previously, Arthur spent close to a decade as Chief Latin America Economist at Morgan Stanley, providing macro insights to institutional investors across global markets. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Economist at ATIVA Corretora. He holds a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from PUC-Rio.
