The LBS Public Speaking and Debating Society was founded in 2025 with a clear mission: to help LBS students become confident, persuasive, and impactful communicators. Whether you're preparing for a job interview, pitching to investors, or leading a team, the ability to speak well is one of the most valuable skills you can develop. We are the only public speaking club at LBS that is built by students, for students, creating a welcoming environment where it's safe to experiment, stumble, and grow. Whether you're terrified of speaking in front of others or already comfortable on stage, you'll find a place here. We emphasize practice over theory, and through impromptu speaking exercises, storytelling, and friendly debates, members get real reps rather than passive instruction. Looking ahead, we're expanding into speaker events, university collaborations, and local competitions. Our ambition is to build something lasting, a society that helps every LBS student find their voice.
