For student club events, food and drink are charged at a discounted rate - you pay at cost rather than commercial rates. Labour and sundries are added based on the number of guests, delivery location(s), event duration (including one hour for set-up and one hour for clear-down), and service type required.
Please note, brochure prices are shown without VAT, so always factor this into your budget.
When placing your order, let the Catering Events team know whether the event is being charged to your club or sponsored, as this affects how the order is processed.
Gather dietary requirements at registration and provide a detailed list to the Catering team at least five days before your event. Our standard catering includes vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, but you should still flag specific needs including halal, kosher, and allergy requirements.
Please remove names from dietary lists when sharing with caterers to comply with data protection requirements.
Order based on confirmed numbers, not registrations - be realistic about no-show rates
Request chef’s choice menus for flexibility
Allow attendees to take home leftovers at the end of the event
