Some events require more coordination to achieve their full potential. Your event may be classified as a Key Event if it includes some of the following:
The final determination is made by the School’s Events Oversight Group and involves multiple factors.
In addition to booking your space, for a Key Event you will need to:
When: Thursday mornings, usually at 11:00
Where: Microsoft Teams
Who attends: you (the Event Organiser - mandatory), plus representatives from Catering, AV, Security, Estates, and other Campus Services teams
The Duty Manager team will email you approximately four weeks before your event. If you don’t receive an invite, contact dutymanagers@london.edu.
Come prepared with your completed EIS, specific questions for each team, and decision-making authority. This is your opportunity to ensure everything is in place and to get expert advice on any gaps in your planning.
Important: Missing this meeting without prior arrangement could result in your event being cancelled.
